A brilliant illustrator who's work we are delighted to introduce!

Last week saw her first solo show ever held at a newly opened space in SoHo/Nolita area of NY.
It revealed selected works - new and old of acrylic on canvases - as well as many of her sketches done in the past few years.  The drawings and illustrations are all based around a portrait of a girl who is anonymous.

The show 'I See You' is a reflection of the girls. She, who is anonymous, is someone you know, or someone you don't know, or someone you've seen before but maybe cannot remember. She is the shy introvert in the corner who does not speak but had lots of thoughts.  She, is always observing but never speaks.

A beautiful show, by an artist to definitely watch.
We love her work <3 p="">

London-based Protein, have released a new documentary set to widen eyes and minds.
Directed by London-born photographyer/filmmaker Will Robson-ScottChi Raq is an intimate video portrait of life in South and West Chicago, and the first in a series of exclusive commissions for Protein TV.

For the past decade, Chicago has been enduring a violence epidemic, with a death toll in the thousands and casualties mirroring the losses experienced by the US army in Iraq war over the same period. Allowing its subjects to take centre stage and tell their stories in their own words, Robson-Scott’s film is unflinchingly honest in its depiction of life on the streets of one of the most dangerous cities in America.

A brilliant self-publishing comes from Melbourne-based photographer and Champ friend, Lloyd Stubber. Beautifully captured images from a short two-man trip through New Zealand's vast South Island.

"One island, two friends, seven days, three thousand kilometers, one (not so) wicked camper, five jump-starts, twenty five CD's, nine skateparks and too many thugstances..."

'Zeal' is the fourth self-published title Lloyd, dedicated to his travelling companion (whose photographs didn't work out), the photo diary captures their week together living out of a Winnie the Pooh themed Wicked Camper.

This 32 page, A4 title is released as a single edition of 100 and includes a custom-made, pull out map to follow the journey first hand.

Don't miss the Melbourne and Perth launches!
Copies of the zine will be available at both launches for $16 and online here after the 9th.

Hand-Engraved Zodiac Series

Fans of BUNNEY for quite some time, we are excited to see the new Zodiac Series launched.

"Spring/Summer 2013 sees the introduction of the hand-engraved Zodiac series from London based jewellery company BUNNEY.Following traditional 'woodcut' style Horoscope signs, each badge is carefully hand-engraved in London and hallmarks are proudly featured on the front of each piece beneath the BUNNEY mark. The badges fasten with a typical badge 'D-Pin' closure. These styles are exclusively available now in 23mm diameter at usual BUNNEY stockists worldwide."

Joanna and I will need to get 2 each, as we're on the cusp of Sagittarius and Capricorn...

Any excuse, right!
